Bloch Postdoctoral Fellow

Isaac Zheng received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at MIT. His research has focused on engineered electronic phases in moiré superlattices. Moving forward, he is interested in how quantum sensing and hybrid quantum architectures can open new avenues for accessing and manipulating microscopic dynamics in strongly interacting systems. His current work explores the use of circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) and scanning SQUID microscopy to probe the superconducting properties of two-dimensional quantum materials.
