Welcome to the Bøttcher Lab

We explore the intersection between condensed matter physics and quantum information. At the center lie quantum materials that offer our playground to study emergent quantum phases, underlying symmetries, and material collective modes using quantum sensing (QS) tools developed from the field of quantum information (QI). We then harness those unique material properties to build novel quantum circuits and qubits with new functionalities.
